Electrician – Social Housing / Local Authority
Location: Bath and Bristol
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Van + Benefits

DK are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established maintenance contractor with a strong track record in delivering maintenance, repairs and installation services across social housing and local authority contracts. Due to sustained growth and new long-term projects, they’re looking to bring an experienced Electrician into their team.

About the Role:

This is a mobile role covering domestic properties in the local area, primarily for housing associations and councils. The work involves a mix of:

• Electrical testing and inspection

• Reactive repairs and fault finding

• Planned installations and maintenance

• Ensuring all work is compliant with current regulations and safety standards

You’ll be part of a stable and supportive team, working on reliable contracts with consistent work volumes.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or 2394/2395 equivalent)

• A valid UK Driving Licence

• Experience working in domestic settings, ideally in social housing or public sector environments
