Primary Teacher andndash; SEN School, Andover (KS3 Pupils Working at Primary Level)
Location: Andover, Hampshire
Hours: 8:30am andndash; 5:00pm (Full-time, 40 hours per week)
Pay: andpound;165 andndash; andpound;255 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025
Contract: Temp-to-Perm (TTP)
About the School
Supply Desk is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established specialist SEN school in Andover, which is launching an exciting new provision this term. This new area of the school has been designed to support Key Stage 3 students who are learning at a Key Stage 1 or 2 level.
The school has an excellent reputation for its nurturing ethos, inclusive approach, and commitment to helping every child reach their full potential. Staff work collaboratively with therapists, support assistants, and families to create a safe, structured, and engaging environment for all learners.
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacherandnbsp;to join this supportive SEN school on a Temp-to-Perm basis. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping a brand-new learning space and to make a meaningful difference to students who thrive with a primary-style curriculum within a secondary-age setting.
You will be responsible for delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to each pupilandrsquo;s needs and celebrating their progress at every step.
Responsibilities
andbull; Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons for KS3 pupils working at primary level
andbull; Create a nurturing, well-structured classroom that supports social and emotional development
andbull; Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
andbull; Track and record progress, contributing to EHCPs and personalised learning plans
andbull; Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
andbull; Uphold the schoolandrsquo;s safeguarding and behaviour policies
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
andbull; A recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
andbull; Experience teaching within KS2 (experience in SEN settings is desirable)
andbull; A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
andbull; Patience, creativity, and a strong sense of empathy
andbull; The ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
