The Role: We are seeking an adaptable and proactive Waste Yard Supervisor with strong people management experience to oversee the efficient operation of our waste yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high volumes of waste movements, supervising staff, and ensuring operational excellence across all yard activities. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise daily waste yard operations, ensuring a high turnover of waste movements is handled efficiently and safely.Conduct daily stock checks of each material on the waste apron and maintain accurate records.Maintain control of bay stock levels, ensuring materials are stored correctly and volumes remain within operational limits.Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the Press/ Baler, RPC and supporting equipment.Supervise the Sludge and RCF operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.Monitor and manage wear and upkeep of machine ancillaries (e.g., blades, wrap stocks) to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.Carry out and ..... full job details .....
