Making a difference to the lives of our customers each and every day, by helping shape the strategic direction of our business around the world.Were looking for a Technical Delivery Manager / IT Product Manager to join our Group Functions Technology teamsomeone who thrives at the intersection of business needs and technology delivery.This role will support the Senior Technology Delivery Manager, taking ownership for the delivery of technology solutions that enable the business to address customer needs and meet strategic goals. Youll work with the business to facilitate the translation of these into actionable technology solutions, leading cross-functional teams to deliver, and maintain, robust products and services. You will be accountable for the ongoing success of the product or services, ensuring they remain resilient, secure, strategically aligned and delivering business value.This is a hands-on role that blends product thinking, agile delivery, and technical leadershipideal for someone who is passionate about delivering meaningful change for the business through technology.How youll help us make health happen:Lead technical delivery and support of applications and services in line with strategy and roadmap.Align product development with Bupas Technology Strategic Framework, driving innovation and continuous improvement.Own run and change for technology products, applying DevSecOps to ensure secure, resilient services.Ensure information security, data protection, and resilience across the product lifecycle, including third-party oversight.Align product data models and integration strategies with enterprise architecture standards.Build and lead multi-disciplinary teams, acting as scrum master when needed.Oversee full delivery lifecycle, embedding agility, automation, and continuous improvement.Provide technical leadership to the platform team, including line management.Manage asset lifecycle, promote cloud adoption, and integrate technical debt into product backlog.Coordinate cross-functional dependencies to improve delivery speed and agility.Ensure compliance with risk, security, and resilience standards.Lead audit readiness and manage performance against KPIs and strategic goals.Oversee technology suppliers, optimise contracts, and manage vendor relationships and roadmaps.Evaluate and influence procurement of new software solutions.Manage supplier risk per policy.What youll bring:Senior technology professional with significant experience delivering complex product delivery.Experience in owning the change and run activities for technology products, including planning and backlog management, onboarding new applications, security and architecture governance, and delivery of operating models.Collaborative, with outstanding communication skills and a strong ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups, often translating technical language into business language.Experience with IT Service Owner responsibilities, such as contract renewals and attestation of applications within governance processes.Experience in transforming from waterfall to agile ways of working and leading cross- functional product teamsComfortable making technical decisions in alignment with policies standardsInnovative mindset with experience in user-centricity and design thinking ways of workingAbility to influence behaviour without organisational hierarchyStrong problem-solving skillsBenefits
