Technical Manager (Building) HMP Glenochil, Tullibody, Clackmannanshire £34,789 - £40,850 plus temporary RRA (recruitment retention allowance) of £1500 per annum, until maximum of the pay band is reached, then £1000 is given An exciting opportunity has arisen within HMP Glenochil as we recruit for a Technical Manager (Building) to join the Estates Team. The Technical Manager (Building) is responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Engineers and Operatives. They will manage the maintenance team workload through our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure the estate complies with statutory regulations and service level agreements. The role involves planning and directing Engineers and Operatives to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) building and fire compliance meeting locking policy and spare key safe management. The Technical Manager will plan and monitor local and national contracts. There are additional procurement responsibilities with Local contracts. If you have the following, we would like to hear from you: Have served a recognised apprenticeship and obtained a qualification in a relevant building related discipline such as Carpentry and Joinery to a minimum of SVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Essential Have completed an HNC in an engineering subject.
