Site Operations Manager

to oversee the commissioning and day-to-day operations of a brand-new manufacturing facility in County Meath. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to lead a state-of-the-art production site from project phase through to full-scale operations.The Opportunity:This role will be instrumental in ensuring operational readiness during the setup phase, working alongside senior leadership, project teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Once the site is live, you will take full ownership of all operational activities, ensuring compliance, safety, quality, and performance targets are achieved.Key Responsibilities:Lead the on-site commissioning and start-up of a new facility producing animal nutrition productsEnsure full compliance with group and regulatory standards, including quality, HSE, and industry accreditationsSupport HR in recruiting, onboarding and training the site teamOversee operational budgets, cost control, and financial reportingDeliver safe, timely and efficient manufacturing output aligned with customer needsProvide leadership and mentorship to build a high-performing site cultureDrive lean principles across the site - including tools such as 5S, SMED, TPM, and GembaCollaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic and performance goalsEssential Criteria:Recent experience in a similar operational management or site leadership roleProven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budgetStrong leadership, communication and organisational skillsExcellent problem-solving ability and a hands-on, practical mindsetFull UK/Irish driving licence and flexibility to travel when requiredEligibility to live and work in the UK or IrelandDesirable Qualifications (not essential):Degree in engineering, business or related disciplineLean Six Sigma certificationProject Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2)Health and Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH)Why Apply?This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal moment of growth and innovation.
