This role reports into an experienced finance manager and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cashier looking for their next role.Day duties of the role: Always Ensure full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.Process client and office receipts accurately, in accordance with firm policies and procedures.Set up and manage electronic payments promptly and efficiently.Action internal bank transfers between client and office accounts as required.Calculate interest on client account transactions with precision.Ensure timely return of client balances in line with regulatory expectations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for Trust balances.Assist with SRA and statutory audits, providing necessary documentation and support.Support the wider accounts team with additional ad hoc tasks as needed.Experience needed for the role: Proven experience in a Legal Cashier role within the legal sector (essential).Strong understanding and demonstrable knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.Previous accounting experience, ideally within a legal environment.Experience handling multi-currency transactions and understanding international transfers.Excellent IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.Strong prioritisation and time management ..... full job details .....
