About the role We are seeking a Paraplanner to support Financial Planners in providing high-quality advice to clients. This role involves preparing suitability reports, conducting research, ensuring compliance, and helping to develop tailored financial strategies based on client needs. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed, compliant suitability reports and recommendations Conduct technical research across investments, pensions, tax planning, and protection products Liaise with clients and product providers to gather relevant information Analyse client fact finds, risk profiles, and financial objectives Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial plans Maintain accurate records on back-office systems. Keep up to date with financial products, legislation, and industry trends Work closely with advisers to ensure client needs are met promptly and effectively Support with annual reviews and ongoing client servicing Skills and Qualifications: Essential: Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) Minimum 2 years of experience in a paraplanning or similar role Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, tax planning, and protection Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial planning software Desirable: Progress towards Chartered Financial Planner status Experience with Transact.
