Fire Door Installers Urgently Required

Location:                       Croydon and Surrounding Areas

Salary:                           Starting at £38,000k (Dependent On Experience)

Working Hours:            Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Permanent:                     PAYE

 We are actively seeking a dedicated Fire Door Installer with a strong background in the construction industry to become a vital part of our dynamic team and support our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring outstanding service.
• Report directly to the Supervisor or Contracts Manager.
• Carry out refurbishments, maintenance, and installation tasks with exemplary workmanship in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain daily communication with the management team.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of existing fire-rated doors for necessary repairs or replacements.
• Ensure that all fire-rated door installations align with fire regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Install and maintain fire door hardware, including locks, hinges, and closers.
• Keep precise records of door installations, repairs, and inspections using designated software.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all tools and equipment.
• Uphold a safe and compliant work environment at all times.

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in survey administration and documentation.
• Extensive technical knowledge in fire door installation.
• Certification/References in fire door installation is required.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of fire safety regulations and processes (MBTrada preferred).
