Location: Reading, BerkshireRate: 21.40 per hour Engagement: CIS Type: Ongoing / Long-term ContractJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to carry out reactive and planned maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties across the Reading area. The role requires a reliable, customer-focused tradesperson capable of delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance in tenants'' homes.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake a wide range of reactive maintenance repairs, responding promptly and efficiently to reported issuesCarry out planned maintenance works in line with work schedules and specificationsPerform multi-trade tasks including, but not limited to: Carpentry (repairs, doors, locks, kitchens)Basic plumbing (leaks, taps, sinks, WC repairs)Plaster patching and making goodTiling repairsPainting and decorating (minor works)Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health and safety regulationsMaintain accurate records of works completed using job sheets or handheld devicesProvide an excellent level of customer service when working in tenants'' homesWork independently and manage workload effectivelyRequired Skills and ExperienceProven experience as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing or domestic maintenanceStrong all-round trade skills with at least one core trade backgroundExperience working on reactive ..... full job details .....
