autism ,
ADHD , and
speech and language difficulties .Provide 1:1
support
with students who require additional support.Working with small groups of pupilsDemonstrating a proactive and empathetic approach to supporting SEN students.Reflecting on and improving your practice through self-evaluation and CPD.Candidate specification:Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar settingA calm, patient, and empathetic approachExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essentialAll applicants must be willing to undergo vetting checks as part of the school’s commitment to Safeguarding and Anti-bullying. This will include:Enhanced
DBS
check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)Two recent references (covering the past 24 months)Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the past 5 years)All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
