Supply Desk is proud to be working in partnership with an outstanding SEN school in Watford. We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, and a range of other complex learning difficulties. If you are passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, we''d love to hear from you.

The Role:

You will work closely with classroom teachers and SEND specialists to support students across Key Stages 2-4 within a structured, nurturing, and therapeutic environment. Your support will help learners build confidence, develop key life skills, and achieve their academic and personal development goals.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  Providing 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs

  Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional resilience

  
  



• 
  

  Adapting learning resources to engage students effectively

  
  



• 
  

  Supporting the implementation of EHCP targets and behaviour support plans

  
  



• 
  

  Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

  
  



• 
  

  Helping to create a calm and inclusive classroom atmosphere

  
  



• 
  

  Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress and well-being

  Experience supporting children or young people with SEN or SEMH needs
