We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assessor/Tutor to join our established team. You will support learners undertaking qualifications in Early Years and Teaching Assistants, delivering engaging learning sessions, providing constructive feedback, and assessing knowledge and competence across work-based learning programmes.Responsibilities

Support a caseload of learners across Early Years and Teaching Assistant qualifications, guiding their professional development.Plan, deliver, and assess teaching, learning, and assessment activities in line with awarding organisation requirements.Provide personalised support and feedback to help learners achieve apprenticeship standards and qualifications.Carry out workplace observations, assessments, and progress reviews with accuracy, fairness, and integrity.Uphold safeguarding, well-being, and inclusion standards for all learners in line with organisational and legislative expectations.Accurately maintain learner progress records and report achievements to relevant stakeholders.Promote positive behaviour, equality, and diversity in all learning activities.Collaborate with internal colleagues, employers, and external partners to maximise learner success.Candidate Profile

Hold an appropriate assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, D32/D33, A1, or equivalent).Possess a teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.Relevant occupational experience in Early Years and/or as a Teaching Assistant.Excellent organisation, administration, and time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support a diverse learner cohort.Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and virtual learning platforms.Commitment to safeguarding, promoting equality and diversity, and continuing professional development.Ability to inspire, motivate, and maintain high levels of learner engagement.Essential Qualifications and Experience

Relevant assessor qualification (CAVA/A1 or equivalent).Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or Supporting Teaching and Learning.Recent occupational experience within Early Years or TA setting.Full driving licence and access to transport (site visits may be required).Eligibility to work in the UK.What We Offer
