Start date: Immediate start available for the right person Working hours: 7:30am - 4pm with 30 minutes lunch break, 8 hours paid per day as standard. Overtime and weekend work is available at an overtime rate. Location: Will be covering Surrey, London and South East areas. Details: This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting photovoltaic (PV) solar power systems on commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive electrical experience, including working on construction sites, reading blueprints and schematics, and adhering to safety standards such as the National Electrical Code (NEC). Applicants will need to have a valid CSCS/ECS card and full PPE. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. Responsibilities Install solar PV systems by wiring panels, inverters, and electrical components according to blueprints and schematics. Conduct electrical inspections on low voltage and high voltage circuits to ensure compliance with safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot system issues. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction blueprints for accurate system assembly. Perform system commissioning, testing, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
