Location: Sheffield or Leeds
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading independent planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their growing team in either their Leeds or Sheffield office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a broad range of projects across the residential, commercial, leisure, and mixed-use sectors - both urban and rural - with one of the region''s most respected planning consultancies.
The Role:
As a Town Planner, you will assist in managing client projects from initial site appraisals through to application and appeal stages. You will work alongside a talented team of planning professionals and play an active role in preparing planning statements, co-ordinating applications, and liaising with clients and local authorities.
What We''re Looking For:
A degree in Town Planning or related subject
At least 12 months'' experience within planning (private or public sector)
Working towards or recently achieved RTPI accreditation
Strong report writing, communication, and organisational skills
Knowledge of the planning system and development management process
A proactive attitude and desire to progress in consultancy
