to join a three-bedded
Ofsted-registered children''s residential home
for young people aged 10-17 with
emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
and
mild learning disabilities (LD) .This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes while also developing your leadership skills. With a clear career pathway, there is scope to progress into a
Deputy Manager position , subject to performance.About the RoleAs a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will:Lead and supervise shifts, ensuring safety, consistency, and high-quality care.Provide direct support to children, helping them develop independence, resilience, and positive life skills.Implement, review, and update individualised care plans.Support, mentor, and guide Residential Care Workers to maintain professional practice.Uphold safeguarding procedures and regulatory requirements.Encourage education, hobbies, and community engagement for young people.Contribute to
Ofsted inspections
and ensure compliance with the
Children''s Homes Regulations 2015
and
Quality Standards .Maintain accurate records, reports, and incident documentation.Build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals.What We''re Looking ForExperience leading shifts/key-working in a children''s home.Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
