Electronics Calibration TechnicianSlough 38k Experienced Electronics Calibration Technician urgently required to work for a world leading Aerospace and aviation organisation based near Slough. This is a key role to the business where you will undertake the repair, test and calibration of aviation ground test equipment, avionics test equipment and general-purpose test equipment. Operate within a dedicated calibration laboratory, ensuring accuracy and adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Utilize traceable and accredited calibration methods to maintain full compliance with UKAS regulations.Main Duties/Responsibilities Test, repair and calibration of ground test equipment, including aircraft battery chargers, avionics test equipment and general-purpose test equipmentComplete the fault finding, repair, testing and calibration process using specialised and general-purpose test equipment.Complete accurate records and ensure that they are filed in a timely manner.Maintain the required level of quality and cost effectiveness, ensuring accuracy.Undertake cross-training in other technical areas in line with requirements of the business.Understand and utilise the Quantum system to ensure effective delivery.Preform calibration of RF and electronic equipment, battery chargers/analysers, and air data test sets using approved procedures and best metrology practices.Ensure accurate completion of calibration certificates and records.Participate in UKAS and accreditation audits ..... full job details .....
