Are you an experienced Estimator looking for your next challenge? We''re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to join our team in Cardiff. In this role, you''ll play a key part in ensuring accurate and competitive tenders, while supporting the wider construction and commercial teams.

What You''ll Be Doing

Tender & Estimating Responsibilities

* Manage the tender process to meet tight deadlines
* Accurately measure works using both CAD tools and manual methods
* Produce tenders using Causeway Estimating software
* Generate accurate prime costs for each project
* Identify potential risks and opportunities early in the process
* Highlight any inconsistencies or issues in contract documentation
* Prepare clear and thorough handover documents for the construction team

Collaboration & Relationship Building

* Build strong relationships with clients and design teams
* Develop a high-quality, reliable supply chain
* Collaborate closely with senior staff and contribute to team success
* Promote a culture of open, effective communication internally and externally

Ongoing Development & Support

* Continuously improve your technical knowledge and financial skills
* Keep cost data current and relevant
* Embrace and support the use of modern IT systems and software
* Seek and apply feedback from the construction team to improve future tenders
* Follow and represent our company brand and ethos

What We''re Looking For

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in an Estimating role within construction
* Proficient with Causeway Estimating (or similar systems)
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
