BDS are recruiting for an experienced Housing Support Officer for a social justice charity based in Southend

Working hours are 35 hours a week

This is a temp to perm opportunity

Late and early shifts pattens. 8-4pm and 2-10pm

Pay rate of £14.61ph PAYE, £19.28ph Umbrella

We are searching for Housing Support Worker for young people within the Southend area.

• You will also need to be able to help Residents with applying for Housing Benefits and paying rent etc. 
• To ensure properties are meeting expected standards in terms of repair and cleanliness you will need a sharp attention to detail to ensure that the houses are clean, tidy and all repairs are reported and actioned.  
• You will be allocated a number of properties to manage, working as part of a larger team to deliver the service across your region.  

Advantageous;

• Experience within social housing and knowledge of Support Planning and welfare benefits/ universal credit

You will need to be a driver with access to a vehicle

You will need an enhanced Adult DBS, less than 12 months old or registered on the update service, already in place prior to applying for this position
