About the RoleWe’re looking for a commercially savvy, technically minded Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive growth across the EMEA region.This role is all about spotting and converting high-value opportunities, building relationships with strategic customers, and ensuring Zotefoams is front of mind when it comes to engineered foam solutions. You’ll work closely with internal technical teams and external partners to offer the right solutions, influence product design, and help bring innovation to market.You’ll be instrumental in growing our pipeline, shaping our go-to-market approach, and representing the Zotefoams brand across new and existing sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development and Pipeline GrowthIdentify and approach large-scale prospective customers in target sectorsUnderstand customer drivers, assess fit, and evaluate the likelihood of conversionPresent Zotefoams as a solutions partner, considering the full product portfolioSupport new product development by aligning technical input with customer needsManage and convert a pipeline of qualified opportunities through CRM trackingCustomer and Market EngagementBuild strong working relationships with OEMs, partners, and decision-makersRepresent Zotefoams at trade shows, events, and customer meetingsActively gather and share insights on markets, customer behaviour, and competitor activityKeep up to date with industry regulations and technical trendsSales Conversion and HandoverDevelop commercially viable proposals with clear return on investmentConfidently manage the sales process from initial contact to closeWork alongside regional sales and account teams to ensure a smooth customer handoverWhat You’ll NeedDegree-level education or equivalent business experience in a technical/commercial settingProven track record in business development within manufacturing, engineering, or technical salesDemonstrated success converting leads and growing a sales pipelineExperience collaborating with marketing teams and shaping go-to-market strategiesCompetence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)What We’re Looking ForStrong communicator who can engage stakeholders at all levelsNaturally curious and solution-focused, with an ability to simplify complex ideasProactive and well-organised, able to juggle multiple projects and prioritiesCollaborative mindset with a genuine team-first attitudeCommercially aware with a knack for spotting value and presenting it clearlyAt Zotefoams, we believe in fostering a supportive and innovative environment where everybody can thrive.
