HSE Recruitment are working with an established manufacturing company in Peterborough who are looking for a new SHE Manager to lead the safety culture and performance across the site. If you want to join a business where safety is driven from the top and the culture is one of improvement, not just in safety, but across all departments, then this could be for you. This is the largest site in the group with just shy of 200 people on site. Your role is to support the site in moving from a dependant to an interdependent safety culture. Reporting into the Plant Manager and sitting on the senior management team, you will provide the direction, support and clarity in relation to health and safety. You will have a dotted line into a Head of HSE and work alongside a wider company EHS team. You will take ownership for all Safety, Health and Wellbeing activities on site. You will guide and influence Operational Management to maintain high standards, champion innovation, drive continuous improvement and solutions to issues, promote positive culture and safe working practices and deliver the IMS to prove compliance.
