Senior Sous Chef

Fynn Valley is set in the Suffolk countryside on the outskirts of Ipswich. Along with providing a variety of food to our Members, we also cater for Weddings, Parties, Corporate Days, Christmas Parties, Celebrations of life and so much more. We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Sous Chef who is looking for a new challenge and is ready to become an integral part of our experienced kitchen team.Reporting to the Head Chef, you will have the following skills:
A good understanding of using fresh, seasonal and where possible locally sourced produce.A Professional qualification is desirable but not essential, as long as matched with experience.Minimum of Level 2, Food Hygiene CertificateEnsure that the kitchen environment meets EHO Standards and expectationsUnderstanding and awareness of the various allergensEnsure that stock is correctly managed, and wastage kept to a minimumAble to order and check in purchasesAbility to work efficiently and accurately without supervision.Ability to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard
presentation is key.Punctuality and the desire not to let the team down.Be able to fill in the Head Chef on days off/holidayMenu planning and supporting the Head Chef.In return, we will offer:
