Interim Accountant I am recruiting an initial 6-month fixed term contract, with the potential for the contract to extend, for a manufacturer based in Rotherham. Key Responsibilities: General ledger financial journals for month end accounts preparation Overhead review and analysis Monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations Assisting in the preparation of month-end cost absorption into stock. Monthly and Ad hoc reporting for manufacture i.e.: Stock levels / WIP / Labour efficiency Fixed Assets register maintenance. VAT returns Overseeing the Monthly Tax analysis. Payroll processing to monthly deadlines including journal creation Assist in the maintenance of the payroll and TandA system Deferred Income analysis and query resolution Overseeing the Foreign Currency, Petty Cash and Bank accounts Overseeing and providing cover for expenses processing The salary is 35k-45k p/a depending upon relevant experience. It is on site in Rotherham 5 days per week (flexibility around actual hours of work and this can be discussed pre or during the interview.)
