Software Architect

We’re seeking a Software Architect (or an experienced software engineer ready to step up) who can define and lead innovative architectures for complex systems.
RoleYou’ll be at the heart of software design, defining the architecture that underpins secure, reliable and scalable systems. From identifying design drivers like performance, safety and usability, through to ensuring long-term architectural integrity, you’ll set the direction and provide technical leadership.
Key responsibilities
Designing and documenting robust software architectures that balance real-world constraints.
Leading on requirements capture and design rationale, ensuring clarity and traceability.
Guiding development teams, acting as a mentor and sounding board for technical decisions.
Collaborating with other architects and engineering specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
Influencing the future – shaping tools, frameworks, methods, and emerging technologies.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who is both a thinker and a doer, comfortable making high-level design decisions but also able to roll up their sleeves and mentor others. You should bring:
Strong experience in software development (ideally across multiple languages).
A solid grasp of software architecture methods, design patterns and abstraction layers.
Model-based engineering experience.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, inspire and explain complex ideas.
A passion for best practice in software engineering, from continuous integration to scalable design.
