Roles are based in UK offices.Responsibilities

Deliver a wide range of OHL projects, producing and reviewing technical documents in line with industry standards.Develop design criteria, conductor selection, structure type selection, insulation coordination and lightning performance.Develop typical OHL design deliverables including line schedules, plan/profile drawings, staking tables and special crossings design.Conduct feasibility studies to assess technical and economic viability of proposed projects.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, structural) to ensure overall project integrity.Contribute to OHL delivery and workload management across multiple projects.We are at an important phase of growth for Stantec''s Energy team. You ideally hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or Civil Engineering, or have relevant industry experience from a hands-on/construction pathway. CEng, IEng registration, or working towards registration would be beneficial.Experience as an Overhead Line Design Engineer or in a similar role on Transmission and Distribution projects.Experience using PLS-CADD to carry out new OHL designs and modifications to existing designs, with UK design requirements.Strong understanding of complementary TandD disciplines (e.g., HV Plant design, HV Cable design, TandD Civil design) is beneficial.Experience delivering OHL deliverables and managing OHL delivery across multiple projects, and a collaborative team player with client service focus.If you fit some but not all criteria, apply anyway as we are a growth-focused team and will support development.Why join us
