Science Teacher (Maternity Cover) – Waltham Abbey

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis, starting after the Easter holidays.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), delivering engaging and high-quality science lessons in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

Key Details:

• Location: Waltham Abbey
• Start Date: After Easter
• Contract: Maternity Cover (fixed term)
• Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
• Full-time 

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory
• Experience teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to raising student achievement and engagement
