You will be responsible for programming (online) setting, proving out and operating CNC lathes to ensure complex aerospace parts are produced accurately, efficiently and to tight tolerances.Key Responsibilities Set, prove out and operate CNC lathes using Mazak and Fanuc controls. Interpret complex technical/engineering drawings to develop machining strategies. Machine low-volume, high-precision aerospace parts from a range of exotic materials. Ensure all work meets tight tolerances and stringent quality standards. Carry out basic inspection to verify component conformity. Work collaboratively with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.Person Specification Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a high-precision, low-volume environment.
