is currently working on behalf of a respected and design-led architectural practice that specialises in high-quality residential projects. We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their growing team in a pivotal role focused on technical delivery and innovation.About the Role:In this pivotal role, you will lead technical development and project delivery across the practice, with a strong focus on implementing new systems, streamlining workflows and driving innovation to enhance overall efficiency.You will lead the delivery of projects, ensuring each one is completed efficiently, commercially, and to the highest standard. In addition to overseeing delivery, you will support the development of the team’s technical expertise—embedding best practices and helping to raise standards across all aspects of our work.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of robust technical systems and best practices across the studioChampion BIM workflows and explore the integration of AI into design and operationsAct as Principal Designer and ensure adherence to CDM and health and safety regulationsMentor junior and mid-level team members, helping to raise overall technical competencyOversee project delivery with a clear understanding of commercial pressures, program management and budget controlBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal teamsCandidate Profile:A qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist (CIAT preferred)Minimum 5 years’ UK based post-qualification experience, ideally with a technical or delivery focusProven leadership and mentoring abilityExcellent technical knowledge of construction, detailing and UK Building RegulationsFamiliar with Passivhaus principles and low-energy building standardsExpertise in BIM systems and enthusiasm for exploring AI applications in architectureProficient in 3D CAD packages and confident in hand-drawing/sketchingMust reside in the UK and have the legal right to work without sponsorshipWhy Join?Opportunity to help shape technical standards and innovation within a forward-thinking practiceA supportive and creative team environmentInvolvement in beautifully crafted, high-end residential projectsA clear path for professional development and growthCompetitive salary and flexible working arrangementsIf you are a talented technically minded architectural professional looking to take the next step in your career we would love to hear from you.
