We re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Building Safety Surveyor to join a growing team dedicated to helping clients achieve confidence in compliance and risk management. As a Building Safety Surveyor, you ll play a crucial role in demonstrating the safety and compliance of buildings contributing to the health, safety, and welfare of clients and residents. You ll apply your understanding of the Building Safety Act, associated secondary legislation, and Building Regulations to carry out inspections, manage compliance, and resolve issues effectively. Key responsibilities Guide and support clients and internal teams in meeting their obligations under the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended) and the Building Safety Act 2022. Support building regulation audits, appraisals, and site inspections to ensure projects meet requirements. Conduct gap analyses and review client documentation to identify missing information for Building Safety Case Reports and Gateway applications. Provide expert input on compliance training, quality assurance, and best practices. Assess designs, surveys, and inspections for compliance with Building Regulations. Engage with stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies, and attend meetings as required.
