kolt recruitment are looking for a Bodyshop Manager to join a large and well-established group of accident repair centres based in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bodyshop Manager or Assistant Manager looking to step up into a leadership role within a growing and highly reputable accident repair group. This role will see you responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy bodyshop, ensuring productivity, efficiency and quality standards are maintained while leading and motivating the workshop team.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of a busy accident repair centre
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of technicians, panel beaters, painters and support staff
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer and insurance standards
• Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency and profitability
• Manage work allocation and ensure jobs progress through the workshop smoothly
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers, suppliers and customers
• Ensure health & safety and company standards are maintained at all times
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Manager or Assistant Bodyshop Manager
• Strong background within accident repair / bodyshop environments
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong organisational and operational management skills
• Ability to drive workshop performance and productivity
• Good knowledge of bodyshop processes, insurance work and repair standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
