My client is looking for a Warehouse Tean Leader to join their team! Whether you have leadership experience or you’re looking to take the next step from an Operative to Team Leader, you will be considered for this position. Leading a small team of 4 operators, it’s a nice progression opportunity for someone new to a leadership role!

Duties include

• Leading a small team to ensure all duties are carried out effectively
• Operating forklifts and preparing orders to support the workload of the team
• Ensuring the warehouse is used to it’s optimal level by planning racking space and overall stock allocation
• Managing stock returns including all documentation and liaising with other teams when necessary
• Ensuring the labelling of all raw material is correct and moved into the correct locations
• Covering for the Supervisor in their absence
• Any other duties required

The successful candidate will have / be:

• Previous experience within a warehouse environment with longevity in roles
• Forklift licences for counterbalance and reach truck will be highly advantageous but not essential
• Strong communication skills in order to lead a team
• An understanding of IT stock control systems
• Good problem-solving skills and able to think on your feet
