UK Tax Manager - Temporary positionCantello Tayler recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Manager to take ownership of UK tax compliance and reporting for our clients UK entities. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities covering corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and group reporting. Ideal for a candidate with a strong compliance background and a desire to broaden their advisory exposure.Key Responsibilities:Take responsibility for all UK corporate tax compliance, including:Preparation and submission of UK corporation tax returnsCalculation of quarterly instalment paymentsReporting to Group Finance on tax compliance mattersPrepare tax computations ensuring optimal use of tax reliefs and allowances (e.g. CFC, capital allowances)Deliver accurate tax disclosures for audited financial statementsReview and submit quarterly VAT returnsPrepare Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) calculationsSupport with transfer pricing calculations and documentationAssist with other direct tax compliance such as:Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) filingsPillar 2 complianceCountry-by-Country Reporting (CBCR)JCFC reportingUK Tax Strategy updatesPrepare and submit quarterly tax charge reporting, including:Tax packs for UK entitiesPosting of tax journals to SAP (CIT, DT, Group relief)Lead preparation of:Bi-annual forecast of current year tax chargeAnnual tax charge planSupport JSOX compliance for UK Direct TaxAssist with HMRC correspondence (residency certificates, enquiries, etc.)Liaise with external advisors on tax advisory matters and ad hoc tax queriesCandidate Profile:Qualifications:Accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA) essentialCTA qualification desirableExperience:Trained in practice, ideally in a corporate tax compliance roleFirst or second move into industrySome advisory experience beneficialTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirementsExperience with SAP and Microsoft Office, especially ExcelPersonal Attributes:Team player with strong work ethicSelf-motivated and detail-orientedStrong analytical, interpersonal, and organisational skillsIf this UK Tax Manager role is of interest to you, please click apply now or contact Esther Ward in our Egham office.
