Senior to Principal Electrical Engineer

We bring buildings to life, creating award-winning, high-performance environments across all sectors, including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, and residential.Our work includes:Building performance modellingBuilding performance optimisationCarbon verification and validation strategiesDaylight and sunlight studiesNet-Zero strategySustainability benchmarking and environmental assessmentsSustainable master planningStrategic utility management servicesYou will be responsible for the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services for a variety of multidisciplinary projects. You''ll ensure all projects meet our ''right first-time'' standard and adhere to quality management procedures. Your responsibilities will include producing design deliverables such as specifications, drawings, and schedules.Beyond technical delivery, you''ll also support timely invoicing, manage work in progress (WIP), and contribute to forward workload and resource planning for your projects. You''ll also play a vital role in mentoring our graduates and apprentices, supporting their learning and development.Most importantly, you''ll find us a lively, good-spirited team that''s passionate about our work and enjoys each other''s company we''re ready to give you a warm welcome!About YouTo be successful in this role, you''ll need a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a similar relevant discipline, and Chartered status with a relevant institution such as IET or CIBSE.You''ll have a proven track record within an MandE team, ideally gained in a design engineering consultancy, along with excellent stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams. We''re looking for in-depth knowledge and expertise in the design of electrical engineering services, including systems and equipment design, calculations, and drawing production. Familiarity with design tools such as Revit and IES is also essential.Finally, a strong understanding of the wider built environment, including associated design influences and legislative requirements concerning carbon emissions reduction and sustainability, will be key.Ready to make a real impact?
