This is a high impact finance role reporting to the Director of Financial Control and Reporting. The role will lead delivery of Financial Reporting for the Group, working closely with the Finance Leadership Team across all sub-teams. The Head of Group Reporting will lead the Group Reporting team within the head office with responsibility for the delivery of both internal and external reporting for the Group, providing technical and commercial accounting advice when needed, and delivering all financial reporting to a high standard to specified deadlines.The role you will playAs our
Head of Group Reporting , you will be responsible for:Owning group consolidation, internal and external reporting, and statutory accounts.Leading the Group Reporting team responsible for monthly consolidated management information, partnering with commercial finance on analysis and board reporting.Partnering with Investor Relations and finance teams across the business.Driving process improvement and efficiencies.Providing technical accounting advice and preparing board-level papers.Managing relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process.Collaborating closely with Financial Planning and Analysis, Transactional Finance, and Global Accounting and Control.Leading and developing your team to deliver excellence in reporting and compliance.The stuff that sets you apartPut simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:Qualified accountant with senior external reporting experience within a publicly listed company that operates to tight deadlines.Experience in preparing Group accounts and IFRS financial statements for external publication; up-to-date technical accounting knowledge is essential.Good understanding of best practice controls in finance, with proven experience of building processes within teams.Commercially astute and flexible with the ability to identify opportunities and implement practical solutions.Demonstrated experience of leading teams and fostering innovation and collaboration.A strong communicator with the ability to present and facilitate at a senior and Board level and cascade information across all levels and geographies.Disciplined approach to production and documentation of work.Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver high quality work while meeting tight deadlines.Proactive attitude with the ability to use own initiative to spot potential problems and propose solutions.Prior experience with OneStream and D365 preferred but not essential.What’s in it for you?Hybrid workingWelcome to the family free pair of Docs‘Buy as you Earn’ Share scheme65% off all DocsPrivate healthcareA dedicated culture team2 paid volunteer days per yearAre you ready to fill your boots?
