Role - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary - £55,000 + Overtime
Location - Leeds
Other - 6% matched employer pension - 26+8 days bank holiday + Christmas shutdown

They are the number 1 production facility here in Leeds and numerous across the globe and have invested in millions on the latest advanced production equipment to produce high quality products in a timely manner. With continuous improvement projects and ongoing investments, they have continued to meet global demands. My cleint are now recruiting for an electrical maintenance engineer to join the hussle and bussle of their busy site in Leeds to play a key part of their production process. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment ensuring the continued efficiency and reliability of production operations.
The Role
As the electrical maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on complex automated machinery
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components including contactors, invertors, relays, bearings, rollers and some work on Siemens and Allen Bradley
- Maintain levels of critical spares
Requirements
As the electrical maintenance engineer, our client requires:
- Minimum NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in electrical engineering
- Good understanding of fault finding both mechanically and electrically
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
