This company specialise in the manufacturing and production of unique mechanical components for a number of different engineering industries. The core responsibilities of this role will be to oversee the inspection of quality and updated quality processes are being implemented across the site and undertaking reports and investigations. The successful candidate will be involved in future improvement project work and be a key part of the Quality department.

The idea candidate will have previously worked in an engineering or materials environment and be comfortable with the implementation of quality improvement on a site and working from engineering drawings and technical specifications.

The Role:
*Handling the technical specifications for various projects
*Investigating issues/faults
*Testing, inspecting and improving processes
*Overseeing all aspects of a project from a quality perspective

The Person:
*Quality Engineer
*A background/ experience within engineering/ manufacturing (industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Metals, Assembly, Precision Engineering, Oil & Gas, Energy or similar)
*Knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
*Leading quality improvement projects
