Job Title: Production Operative

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: Rotational Shifts (Monday to Friday)

• Shift 1: 06:00 AM - 14:00 PM
• Shift 2: 14:00 PM - 22:30 PM

The company offers excellent opportunities for long-term, stable employment, with the potential to transition to a permanent contract after 12 weeks, depending on performance.

Please note: this role involves working in chilled environments (average temperature between 0°C and 4°C)

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock Management:
• Picking stock from designated collection locations and placing it where needed.
• Replenishing stock in the production areas as required.
• Production Line Duties:
• Packing products on the production line, ensuring that products are packed securely and efficiently.
• Ensuring that all products meet the correct weight requirements for packaging.
• Quality Control:
• Conducting regular quality checks on all items to ensure that they meet company standards.
• Labelling and Coding:
• Labelling products with the correct batch codes and labels to ensure traceability and compliance with regulations.
• Environmental Conditions:
• Working in chilled environments, with temperatures around 0°C- 4°C. Candidates should be comfortable with this temperature range for the duration of the shift.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a similar production or warehouse role would be beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high-quality standards.
• Good attention to detail, especially with packing, labelling, and performing quality checks.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Basic Hours & Pay Rate:

Monday to Friday (Rotational)

• 06:00 to 14:00
• 14:00 to 22:30
• £13 per hour basic rate. overtime rate paid after completed 48 hours
