Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence and Security and Aerospace sectors, is seeking a Quality Engineer for a contract position to be based onsite in Luton.Key Responsibilities:Offer advice, support and assistance on all Quality Assurance / Quality Control mattersContribute actively to IPT requirements, delivering a compliant product on time while meeting all cost and safety requirementsConduct First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 standardsAudit the Business Management System (BMS) in accordance with AS9100 standardsSupport the reduction of Non-Conformance costs and foster a root cause and corrective action cultureImplement Assurance function''s improvement plans across all phases of the Programme, Product, and Project LifecyclePositively influence quality behaviours using effective interpersonal skillsAttend and contribute to key meetings, including IPT, functional, Operations, and Engineering meetingsEnsure concessions and production permits are processed correctly and promptly, directly supporting where requiredSupport achievement of project assurance milestones within the Programme, Product, and Project lifecycleAssist in delivering reports and supporting data to the Programme, Project, and function as requiredJob Requirements:Experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management within the Defence and Security and Aerospace sectorsStrong knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standardsSignificant understanding of quality ..... full job details .....
