Your new role The client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the finance team on a temporary basis. Day-to-day tasks include: Performing the accounts payable process end-to-end, monitoring the payables inbox and ensuring it runs smoothly Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly and appropriatelyAccurately processing and checking all invoices, ensuring they are paid on a timely basisAssisting with bank reconciliations for multicurrency bank accounts on a monthly basis to provide accurate information in the management accountsAssisting in month-end procedures, including reconciliations of the sub-ledger reports to the general ledger and the investigation and clearance of any breaksUnderstanding, documenting and maintaining internal controls and standard operating proceduresAssisting with the development and improvement of AP systems and proceduresOther ad hoc tasks as requiredWhat you''ll need to succeed Part-qualified accountantExperience of purchase ledger procedures within financial services is ..... full job details .....
