Job DescriptionWe are seeking a HV Estimator to join our team and contribute to exciting projects in power connections, EVCP, battery, and solar installations.The HV Estimator will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for energy projects. This role will involve close collaboration with project management and delivery teams to meet company standards and profitability targets.The role will also require regular communications with our suppliers, ensuring we have the correct price build ups and the DNO / IDNO to ensure we capture PoC (point of connection dates). The HV Estimator would be responsible for:Interpreting DNO/TSO specifications, substation layouts, and protection schemes.Understanding HV procurement (transformers, switchgear, cable joints).Estimate costs including civils, testing, and commissioning.Deal with utilities, permits, and safety compliance (like CDM, ESQCR).Achieving key dates for quote submissions against client milestonesUpdating trackers/job management system to reflect the job statusRaising purchase orders through commercial for awarded worksInterpreting basic power drawings and collate site instructions, whilst creating quotations from rate cardsSupporting the team in achieving conception to completion regarding quotationsTarget driven ..... full job details .....
