BDP is seeking a talented and motivated Town Planner to join our busy Urbanism Studio in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified planner with around

four years

experience

to contribute to a broad range of high-profile and meaningful projects, both in the UK and internationally.Responsibilities

Preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documentsContributing to the preparation of masterplans and planning strategiesSupporting the preparation of EIAs and other statutory submissionsAdvising clients on planning policy, site potential and riskEngaging with local planning authority case officers and other stakeholdersParticipating in community consultation and engagement processesCoordinating with colleagues across disciplines and with external consultantsQualifications

Up to

four years

relevant experience in a planning roleRTPI Chartered status (or working towards chartership)Strong technical planning knowledge and understanding of the UK planning systemExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience engaging with clients, local planning authorities, stakeholders, and community groupsConfidence working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamAn interest in design, heritage and social value is desirableExperience in the preparation of masterplans, strategic planning or urban designYou will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, contributing ideas and solutions that help shape sustainable, inclusive places.About Us
