A1 Labour are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager on behalf of our client who are a well revered Construction Principal Contractor.

The-Estimating Manager-is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for construction projects. The role works closely with pre-construction, commercial, and operational teams to help secure new projects and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions
• Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Carry out site visits when required
• Attend tender review and project handover meetings
• Support value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure timely and accurate tender submissions
• Provide support and guidance to other team members
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Undertake any other duties required to support the business

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a construction estimating role
• Strong understanding of construction costs and procurement
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office and estimating software
