Group Leadership and Talent Development ManagerWe are seeking a leader to drive the strategic leadership development agenda across Barratt Redrow, including hi-potential talent programmes, graduate/early careers initiatives and management development. This role reports to the Head of Talent, Performance and Development and collaborates with the Talent and Performance team to provide development solutions for high potential talent and performance management capability.

OverviewSupport the business and our divisional offices across all departments, from the Executive Board to support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, Legal and Company Secretariat, and Barratt Partnerships.

Responsibilities

Lead the Leadership development strategy for Barratt Redrow

Understand current and future capability implications of our strategy to inform leadership development plans

Collaborate across the business to design and deliver appropriate solutions and campaigns aligned to priorities

Review and redefine leadership and management development offers to optimise delivery of business strategy

Define and embed leadership expectations for all leaders across Barratt Redrow Group

Define and embed baseline expectations for all people managers within Barratt Redrow

Define and deliver a senior leadership induction that immerses leaders in Barratt Redrow expectations

Oversee corporate induction design and delivery

Ensure leadership development delivers ROI through robust evaluation and data-driven improvement

Ensure learning solutions reflect and reinforce company values

Develop solutions for hi-potential talent and performance management capability in partnership with the Talent and Performance team

Conduct training needs analysis to define learning outcomes

Work with Learning Solutions to define and design resources (including 3rd party partners)

Ensure fair selection/assessment processes and represent diverse cohorts in programmes

Identify and manage external providers as needed within budget

Maintain an external network for benchmarking and industry trends in leadership development

Manage and facilitate the coaching agenda, including internal capability and external PSL providers

Continuously explore innovative and inspiring learning approaches

What You’ll NeedTo be successful in the role, we are looking for:

Essential

Deep specialist expertise in leadership development programmes and be a thought leader within Barratt Redrow

Hands-on experience designing, implementing and evaluating learning strategies in leadership development

Practical experience designing, delivering and evaluating a leadership development framework

Ability to work at a strategic level with a pragmatic, experience-based approach

Ability to think long-term and deliver sustainable learning outcomes with continuous improvement

High knowledge of leadership and management principles, current and future

Commercially astute with strong data analytical skills

Excellent relationship and stakeholder management at all levels, with ability to influence senior stakeholders

Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills

Desirable

Understanding of macro environment shaping HR/LandD decisions, the house building industry and macro-economic climate

Ability to lead others’ contributions and manage third-party support

Strong delivery and facilitation skills

Knowledge of learning principles (e.g., 70:20:10) and interpersonal skills (EI, coaching)

Proactive curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo

Balanced, considered decision-making

Comfort with rapid change and ambiguity; an advocate for change
