DSG Business LeadDavall Gears is seeking a commercially minded individual to take ownership of DSG - our stock gears and distribution business - and develop it into a structured, growing standalone part of the company.DSG currently operates through a mix of subcontract manufacture and distribution supply. The ambition is to professionalise and grow the business through improved product positioning, stronger supplier relationships, enhanced catalogue and webshop capability, and proactive customer development.This role is hands-on and operational but with clear commercial ownership and the opportunity to shape how DSG evolves over the next three years and beyond.Role purposeTo manage and develop DSG as a standalone business unit - improving day-to-day operations while building a stronger commercial, product, and channel strategy to support growth.Key responsibilitiesBusiness ownershipTake day-to-day responsibility for DSG enquiries, orders, suppliers, and deliveryImprove internal processes, ERP data quality, and operational flowCoordinate subcontract and distribution activityCustomer and supplier relationshipsAct as primary contact for DSG customersDevelop strong supplier and distributor relationshipsSupport sales into both existing Davall customers and new marketsProduct and proposition developmentReview and refine the DSG product and catalogue offeringIdentify opportunities to improve positioning and competitivenessSupport development of a future webshop and digital sales ..... full job details .....
