OverviewCNC Miller Programmer

We are working with a company established for over 35 years, specialising in servicing a wide spectrum of moulding materials. They are toolmakers and precision engineers, focusing on the design and manufacture of all production tooling. They are based in Lancashire and are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join the team.

Responsibilities

Programming and setting CNC machining centres producing low volume, high value, complex components to tight tolerances by studying engineering drawings and computer-generated models and applying knowledge of materials and machining.

Qualifications / Skills

Must have over 4+ years hands-on working experience as a CNC Miller

Must have 4+ years experience with setting and operating mills

CAM experience is required, minimum 3 years

Experience as a Programmer is required, around 5+ years

Ability to write programs from scratch

Experience of Fanuc or Heidenhain controls is required

Ideally apprentice trained

Hours37 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm
