Class 1 Driver
Location: Leigh, WN7 3BD
Shift times: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: -16 per hour, ADR is paid at -17 per hour

We''re looking for full-time, Class 1 Drivers to join us at our site in Leigh with an immediate start on a temporary ongoing basis!

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

What you''ll do on a typical day:
- Longer distance routes delivery to customer sites and branches.
- Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
- Using a hand held scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
- Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

What you need to succeed with our client:
- HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), ADR is preferred but not essential.
- No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
- Multidrop delivery experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
- A can-do attitude.
