We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wireman/Fitter to join our team, working on NGED substations mainly within the NGED region. As a NGED authorised Wireman/Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the electrical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Carry out wiring, fitting, and earthing works on NGED substations Hold and manage Permit to Work (PTW) and Limitation of Access (LOA) systems Work safely and efficiently, adhering to NGED policies and procedures Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery Maintain accurate records and documentation Requirements: NGED authorisation as a Wireman/Fitter Valid PTW and LOA certification Proven experience working on electrical substations Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, fitting, and earthing practices Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities Desirable Qualifications: City and Guilds 2360 or equivalent electrical qualification SSSTS (Site Safety Training Scheme) certification IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification Telehandler operator training certification First Aid at Work certification What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Company van Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunities for career development and growth Collaborative and supportive team environmen ..... full job details .....
