Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Bradford, BD7
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shift Pattern:- Day Shift ONLY !!!

• Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a growing distribution centre within an international organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and approachable leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is passionate about driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Centre, including resource planning, holiday cover, and operational compliance.
• Implement and maintain effective End of Day and Shift Handover reporting structures.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Develop, monitor, and improve reporting structures covering key DC performance indicators.
• Review training levels regularly to enhance workforce skills and overall productivity.
• Ensure Purchase Order (PO) and Stock Transfer Order (STO) activity remains within business guidelines.
• Support the wider team, including participation in EMEA meetings and calls when required.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and health andamp; safety standards.
• Support and embed Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools, 5S, and basic problem-solving methodologies.

What We''re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years'' experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment (preferred).
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of inbound and outbound logistics, including post-Brexit compliance.
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP highly desirable).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IT literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Approachable, empathetic, and confident leadership style.
