Our client is a well established and friendly private client firm of solicitors. They require a conveyancing legal secretary who will provide crucial administrative and secretarial support to conveyancers and handle tasks related to property transactions. This will include managing files, drafting legal documents, communicating with clients and other parties, and general office administration. You will be responsible for file management, document preparation, client communication and administration support. You will submit land registry applications, handle searches and manage other related Land Registry tasks. You will also assist with processing payments, including Stamp Duty Land Tax and provide updates to ensure that clients are informed of the progress of their transactions. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a conveyancing legal secretary Strong technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), audio typing, and ideally experience with legal case management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Effective written and verbal communication is crucial for interacting with clients and other professionals. Attention to detail and accuracy: Accuracy in drafting documents and managing files is essential. Organized and efficient: Ability to manage a busy workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
