Responsibilities of the Senior Buyer Source materials and suppliers Meeting with supplier representatives, negotiating rates. Extract global material order requirements from tender information. Produce cost/value reports and life cycle costs Arrange transfer of material/plant between sites/head office Provide market competitive procurement solutions Getting quotations for specified materials and alternatives for estimators and negotiating for the best price.
